One of the highest honors a teen in group can pay is to trust me with a hurt.

The feeling of relief in just talking is always evident.

Chances are your youth group leader or pastor regularly invite you to talk about whatever is on your mind.

Do it today. Then please share about how your mentor is helping you.

SIGH! Wish I could say it's your imagination. But, I've seen it over and over. Disrespect for women has no place in Christendom.

Men will go to Ephesians 5:22-24 and say "see, it says you have to obey." But, they need to go on and read verses 25-27 where men are told to love their wives as Christ loved the church.

Christian leaders need to set an example. That type of thinking can go on from generation to generation.

Guys and gals need to pray for their future mates. That God would be working in their lives now.

I pray for my future sons in law each night that they and my daughters would be the Godly people that will be the best for my grandchildren.

hey i agree(i agree with every thing lately hahaha)!!!! God doesn't leave and like a mentor he can't help, if you can't talk (i learned that from my own expeariance with talking to people not God). people may seem more helpfull but only God can truely heal us! am i not right!

if you did some thing wrong he wont heal you. say if liz said that she said that she loved god but never prayed or wanted any thing to do with god out side of church. then he will punish you for lieing.

Take a look at John 9. Some thought the man was blind because of his sins or the sins of his parents. See what Jesus reply was.

Other times such things can be the result of our choices.

We sadly see God as a mean dude in the sky just waiting to zap us when we goof. He loves us so much that He can't take his eye off of us. We sure do cause him grief with our choices.

Life this side of heaven is tough enough without drifting away from God.

Look at the steps listed in James 4:7-10. Then do them in your life and encourage others who have drifted away to draw closer.

Please write back and let us know how it goes. We'll be praying.

I want to talk about my mentor. She is always there to listen and offer advise. She is never judgmental or demeaning. Sometimes I like what she has to say and other times I don't like what she has to say. But, she is always praying for me. She is a godly woman and loves Jesus greatly. She would never steer me the wrong way. She is strong in her faith and is always willing to pray with me and pray for me. She also upholds my children. A mentor is not someone who puts you down but is someone who listens, offers advise and walks with you through your struggles and joys. I am truly blessed that God placed this woman in my path when I was struggling. Now she is always there.
