Good for you Kimmy. I got good news this week. My mother who has battled three cancers and won has been cancer free for 17 years. About three months ago she had a chest xray and the doctors didn't like the looks of a spot on her lung. With her history, three different cancers within six months, they told her it didn't look good. She had a CAT scan and the same results. About two weeks ago, she had a PET scan and we got the news yesterday that although the spot needs to be watched it is NOT cancer. On top of that she was having stomach problems which indicated possible colon cancer. The colonoscopy was clean. NO problems. We had a prayer chain going that went from Massachusetts to New York to Missouri and who knows how far from there. Knowing that people were praying helped my Mom through a frightening three months. We were blessed with a response from God that we asked for. The strength and comfort in knowing that God is in control is awesome. Even understanding that He might have said "Not this time", my family clung to Him through this trial. Our God is truly an awesome God. And YES I say He is awesome even when His answer is NO. My strength is in Him!
