My daughters, 7th and 9th grade, have been the absolute joy of my life. Yet, there have been some hair pulling moments.

Parents have one of the toughest, and most rewarding jobs in the world. Lets share our experiences and seek suggestions from each other.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Sounds challenging, yet not impossible.

In Ephesians 6:1-4 we are told to honor our parents. Not always easy, but then commands aren't always easy and this is a command.

Jesus told us to go the extra mile in Matthew 5:41. In those days citizens were required by law to carry a soldier's load for a mile when asked to do so.

Jesus didn't exempt us from going the extra mile, rather he said to go for two. Gives new meaning to the term "heavy."

Teens are not exempt from honoring parents even when it's tough.

What a great opportunity to shine for Jesus to two frustrated and tired people.

We'll be praying. Please keep us posted on how it does.

they dont want any thing to do with me only b/c i almost got kick out for telling them that my friend would come and talk with them for every mean thing they said and that isnt so hard to tell the person to the face why you say what you say for a reson. i mean i tell people what i think and they dont care b/c they dont listen to me and i end up going and doing it weather its wright or not.

Find someone to talk to about this. Your youth group leader, pastor, school counselor, teacher or other mentor.

Just talking will do you a world of good. Just as a physical hurt requires professional care so does a hurting heart.

You need to do it now!

Please let us know how it goes. Remember we do care!

Thanks for sharing about the hurt in your heart. Please tell me more about what you mean in this part of your posting>

"god nows i will end up in a better place"

Do you mean you are going directly there now, as in suicide,or that you have the hope that you will be in Heaven someday in God's timing?

When we hurt so deep it doesn't seem like there's anything to live for, but there is.

You need to share your hurts face to face with someone now! Find that special person that will listen. Whether it's your counselor, a trusted teacher that cares, your pastor or your youth group leader.

In your area you can call 518-689-HOPE or visit their website http://www.timesunion.com/communities/samaritans/

If you are anywhere else in the US call 1-800-SUICIDE or 1-800-784-2433.

Please log on to this forum and share what is happening. We care!

Making sure it's in God's time and not a shortcut. Thanks for the update.
