This morning's message was on the bood of Mark chapter 10 verses 35 throu 45. Jesus told his disciples that in order to lead as a Christian we must be servants. Jesus told James and John that they would share in his "cup" and his baptism. His cup spoke of the portion that God has for each of us, and his baptism speaks of our being dead to ourselves and being resurrected in newness of life in Christ Jesus.
I challenge you to accept the cup from God's hand no matter what consequence it holds, and identify ourselves in the life of Christ by allowing him to live his life through us. Be the servant to your family, your community, and bring Glory to God!! Blessings to you all,

Thank you for the sermon topic. What a blessing to know that our service through Him is honored. He blesses us in ways we can't even begin to imagine just because we honor Him by being His servant. I am blessed every day by the ability to be His servant in my job at a nursing home. I am honored to be trusted with His word and the wisdom He provides me as I work with the elderly and dying patients. The blessings that flow down because of the willingness to serve are innumerable. Thank you again.

It is fantastic to know that there are those out there that are reading the "stuff" that I write. I am glad that what is here is a blessing to those who read it. I would encourage you to write me here if you have any questions or comments. Remember, there is nothing that you can't ask, and nothing that I won't talk with you about.
