Messing up is such a wide topic. It can be anything from breaking Mom's favorite dish to doing something that we truly regret.
To say that everyone has messed up at least once in their life is an understatement. If I had my life to live over again, there are many things I would change, and only a handfull that I wouldn't.
If you find yourself in a situation that you feel is one of those "If I could change this" moments, and you need to talk to someone who has been there, done that and lost the T-Shirt, then drop me a line. I'm not here to judge or criticize and, who knows, maybe if we put our heads together, we can figure out a way to make things right, or at least not as wrong.

Losing your temper is a perfectly normal thing to do when you see someone who is hurting others. Hitting is what we do when we do not know what else to do. If you really want to be able to sleep again and forgive yourself you have to apoligize. Whether you do it in person or by writing you have to do it.I do not know by what you said if your closest friend was breaking up with his girlfriend or some one else. but if it is your friend you should tell him to just be honest with her because she may feel the same way. Please keep me posted as to what you decide to do. but regardless ask God to forgive you for losing your temper and try to find anoter way to release your anger such as ( running as fast as you can, talking to a good friend about how you feel and if you pray then pray really hard) As far as forgetting what you have done it really is better that you do not forget that way you can remember how you felt when you did it this time. Yes forgive yourself as God has already done, but do not forget that when we loose control of ourselves others can be affected.
